James R Smith, Jr., age 69, died, Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Rochester.
Mr. Smith was born May 9, 1941 in Rochester, NY the son of the late James E and the late Dorothy (Williams) Smith.
He was employed by Baden Street Settlement House as a Drug Counselor.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Smith; 2 sons, James Smith and Tyrone Smith; 1 brother, Anthony Smith and 1 sister, Patricia Allen;
He is survived by his devoted wife Ophelia Smith; 2 sons Eric Smith and Markel Smith; 4 daughters, Sonya Smith, Yvette Smith, Kelly Smith and Daze' Smith; 6 grand and 5 great-grandchild; 5 brothers; 3 sister; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; other relatives; church family and friends.
Pastor Pierrie DuPlissie, Officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers those who wish may contribute to the Father's House in memory of Mr. James R. Smith, Jr.
