I was in the first and second grade at #27 school on Central Park Jim Smith. I transferred to a different school but later when we were around 11 or 12 we played on the same soft ball team for the KPAA for about 5 years straight. He was a great ball player and a good friend. I thought of him often. I wish I had got in touch with him again. He always was a real Gentleman.

My family met Jim through an Rlife group at The Fathers House church. He and his wife Ophelia we the elders of our group. Jim was such a kind and welcoming man and had a great hearty laugh that I will not forget. Bless him and his family.
