Obituary of Monica Baccus
Please share a memory of Monica to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
ROCHESTER, NY – June 4, 2024
Monica Baccus was born in Kingston, Jamaica on April 4, 1951, the daughter of the late Abi Baccus and Myrtle Shaw. She was educated at Coburn Garden in Jamaica before migrating to the United States on September 20, 1970.
Monica dedicated her career to Delphi in Rochester, New York where she worked until her retirement in 2002.
When she wasn’t hitting the slots at the casino, Monica could often be found indulging in her favorite pastimes of shopping and traveling. She had a knack for finding the best deals and always knew how to have a good time.
Although Monica may be gone her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Monica will be sorely missed by her family; one brother, Lawrence Campbell; sister, Pauline Campbell; granddaughter, Asante Black; grandson, Michael Black Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, other family members and friends.
