Mrs. Rose was born July 14, 1940 in Elliston, Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies. She is the daughter of the late Sanford Smith and the late Elfreda (Walker) Smith.
She was employed by Art-Craft Optical Company Inc. in Rochester, NY as a Payroll Clerk.
Predeceased by; her husband Joslyn Rose. She is survived by; 4 sons, Eric Rose, Andy Rose. Michael Stewart, Evereth Smith; 2 daughters, Pamela Elliott, Kimberly Rose, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Dudley Smith, James Smith, Gilbert Smith; 3 sisters, Verna Walker, Melva Parchment, Lozan Smith, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 6 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Genesee Baptist Church, 149 Brooks Avenue, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Lois Goldbourne officiating. Burial will be in a Family Plot, French Park, Spur Tree, Manchester, Jamaica, WI.
