Leven Jones "Junior" was born January 25, 1963 in Rochester, NY at Strong Memorial Hospital. He is the son of the Leven Jones and Mary L. (Washington) Jones. Leven was the youngest son of 7 children. He graduated high school then went to culinary school and became a chef, he worked at Olive Garden and other restaurants. He was an excellent cook and loved hamburgers. Junior grew up attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah was the only God he knew, toward the end of his I ife he talked about wanting a better relationship with God.
Junior became ill with stage 4 cancer and battled with the disease for over a year. He is survived by his sisters Pearl Ragland, Dianne (Donald) Jones, and Roslyn Mosley, brother Rufus Jones as well as aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many other friends. He was loved by all who knew him and he will truly be missed!
A Memorial Service to Celebrate his life will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:30 AM at The Latimer Chapel, 983 S. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, NY. Interment Private.
