RESOLUTIONS
Whereas, it has pleased our heavenly Father to translate from the labors of this life to the sweet rest and fellowship with the saints in heaven, our dearly beloved classmate, Evangelist Idella Jackson Coston.
Whereas, we the members of Carter-Parramore High School Class of 1963 desire to place on record our love for her life and labor while here on earth with us. We thank the heavenly Father for her. We feel that we should express our heartfelt sympathy to her family as well as friends. We thank God for the privilege of having known this fine and spiritual personality.
Be it therefore resolved, that though her presence will be greatly missed by all of us in her high school graduating class, we will accept the Christian submission to God’s will, His calling our beloved classmate home. To her family, we commend them to the Devine Comforter who is able to sustain, encourage and strengthen all that call upon Him. Our prayer is that they will find solace in the inspiring memories of her exemplary life.
Resolved further, that we will cherish Evangelist Idella Jackson Coston’s memory and we will look forward with joy in meeting her in the home which she knew for so many years was being prepared for her in glory. May her soul rest in everlasting peace.
Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions be given to the family and a copy be placed in our class minutes.
