Rochester, NY - November 17, 2022 at 98 years old:
Mr. Gordon was born June 2, 1924 in Portland, Jamaica. He is the son of the late Michael Gordon and the late Eugena (Williams) Gordon.
He worked as a chef at the Presbyterian Home, Epicopal Home, Golf courses and St. Bernard's Seminary. After retirement he was a volunteer cook for 38 years at St. Peter's Kitchen. He charmed everyone with his stories from his boyhood in Jamaica to his love of Opera, Classical Music, Jazz and Cooking.
Predeceased by his wife Willa Dean Gordon and daughter Annella Gordon.
He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him. Special thanks to: The Pines of Peace Comfort Care Home for the "Kingly" treatment he received in his last days. The staff and volunteers will be forever cherished for their amazing ministry.
