ROCHESTER, NY – December 24, 2021
Mrs. Register Boyd was born January 21, 1931 in Valdosta, GA. She is the daughter of the late James Lewis Register and the late Panzie (Corbett) Register.
She is predeceased by, her parents; husband, Claude; siblings, Mattie Slater, Mary Murdock of Detroit, MI, Albert and Claude Register of Valdosta, GA and her favorite "Warren Dexter Register".
Emma L. departed peacefully on December 24 at age 90. She leaves to cherish her memories; sister, Barbara Byrd of Valdosta, GA and brother, John Register (Ellen) of Rochester, NY; sons, Marvin Spencer, Ken Register, Bruce Register, Charles Boyd (Genise) of Birmingham, AL; daughters, Wanda Gail Boyd (Ronald), Karis Rainey (Anthony); nephew-son, Michael Harris, 2 Granddaughters, 5 Grandsons, a host of Great Grands, nephews, nieces and loved ones.
Friends may call Wednesday, December 29 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Latimer's. Funeral Service will be 12 PM on Thursday, December 30, at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 250 Dr. Samuel McCree Way, Rochester with Rev. Dr. Richard Douglass officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Masks required.
