I have such fond memories of my aunt combing my hair when she visited our home, and the loving way she “conked” my hands with the comb when my impatient fingers dared to get in the way of her masterpiece.
I have even warmer memories of family flying in from all over the globe to attend Bernadette’s wedding, and how we didn’t care sleeping on top of each other at aunt Gretly’s house just to be there to share this special time with them. Those were very dear and precious moments.
Rest in peace my wonderful aunt. You have finished your race, now enjoy being promoted to glory. You will be missed. Your neice, Michelle, Don and family xx
