To Reuben, Jr. and all the family of Reuben Sr.,
My condolences are with you. I started working at Schlegel in 1974 and Reuben was one of the first people I met! He was fantastic. He was helpful, friendly, knew everyone there, always had a bounce in his step and joy in his voice. He was treasure. He used to drive me to various meetings outside the building as needed and then wait to drive me back. He always made people feel at home. He used to talk about all the delicious fruits growing on the trees in Barbados that, as kids, they could just pick when they were hungry. He had a work ethic that was an example to others of his strength, his strong beliefs and individual honor. I am so thankful for knowing him. Thank you, Reuben!
