There is not enough space in the tribute box to articulate the respect I have for him and contributions that Capt Price made to his community. I am honored to have stood between him and Cliff Manns in this photo taken in 2008. RIP my friend.

Dear Renee and Charlene,
Your Dad and I were both Alumni of Madison High School and we also served in the U.S. Army 98th Division. After I joined the Rochester Police Department in 1959, he encouraged me to join Kiwanis International and after he was elected to Kiwanis Governor for the New York District, I became the Lieutenant Governor for the Genesee Division. Along with our wives we worked on many projects involving children and we had a “blast” doing it. As a Police Captain, he never micromanaged anyone that worked for him and he allowed his subordinates to make their best decision only assisting them if he felt he needed to do so. Your Dad was my good friend for over 62 years, and I appreciated every moment of it. “Rest in Peace Captain Charles Henry Price – You earned your keep”

I had the pleasure and honor of serving with Charlie in 1987-88 during his year as New York District Governor of Kiwanis. He was a dedicated Kiwanian and a true gentleman. My deepest sympathy on his passing.
