Rev. Capers was born May 12, 1919 in Sumner, GA. He is the son of the late Will Bell and the late Leila (Pierce) Bell.
He was employed by ABEX Corporation Rochester, NY as a Welder.
Predeceased by; his wife, Golda M. Bell.
He is survived by; 2 sons, 6 daughters, host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, 1 sister, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, many friends, and the Rochester community.
Rev. Capers Bell will lie in state Friday, May 14 from 10:00 AM – 12 Noon at Cathedral Of Hope Community Church, 1089 Joseph Avenue, Rochester, NY. Private Funeral Service to Celebrate his Life will be held 12:05 PM at Cathedral Of Hope. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Masks Required.
