ROCHESTER, NY – October 25, 2020
It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved brother, Roland Edward Gooddine, Jr. which occurred on October 25, 2020.
Mr. Roland Edward Gooddine, Jr. (aka "Junior") was born on December 26, 1954 in Tampa, Florida to the parents of Cora Lee Bell and Roland Edward Gooddine, Sr.
He was educated in the Public School System of Hillsborough County, Florida. Roland relocated to Rochester, NY to continue his journey in life. He accepted Jesus Christ in his life as his personal savior and didn't mind telling you so, and he was active in Church for many years until his health declined and never loss his faith in the Lord. Although Roland had some shortcomings in his life, he never loss focus in God for his daily blessings. Roland was a gentle giant to all and had much love for his family and friends.
He enjoyed sketching, drawing, enjoyed preparing special food for his family, had a love for fishing and love his distant families and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Ms. Cora Lee Bell and Mr. Roland Edward Gooddine, Sr. Roland will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Gooddine is survived by his loving siblings. Arthur Bell, Tampa, Florida, Henreitta Bell, Tampa, Florida, Vera G. Rajis, Sharon Hill, Pa., Ronnie V. Gooddine, Tampa, Florida, Lee Andrew Gooddine and wife Geraldine, Clearwater, Florida, Robertha Feyisetan, Tampa Florida, Rosa Lee Gooddine, Tampa, Florida, Rhonda Roby, Tampa, Florida, Regina Gooddine, Tampa, Florida. Niece Tonia M. Terry and husband Steve, Alexis C. Rajis, Michelle Hilary, Felicia Hollis and husband Dan. Nephews, Curtis Lee Frazier, Jerry Lee Mcneal, Jr., Chukwuemeka Rajis and wife, Khalilah. Cousins, Loretta White, Linda Goolsby and husband Walter, Carmen Cambridge, Gail Williams, Roxanne Cann and husband Wayne and a host of great nieces, great-great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephews and other relatives and friends.

There will be a Graveside Funeral Service performed by Millard E. Latimer & Son Funeral Home at Riverside Cemetery, Friday, November 6, 2020 at 12 Noon, 2650 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612
