Mr. Moore was born May 31, 1940 in Allendale, SC. He is the son of the late Harold Hay and the late Hannah M. Moore.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years. Alethia M. Moore; 3 sons, Peter (Eileen) Moore, Kenneth (Vickie) Moore and Michael Moore; 1 daughter Darlene (Jeffery) Benjamin; 13 grand and 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Butler and Flora (James) Gadson; aunt, Rhumella Bradley; nieces, nephews, cousins; sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; other relatives church family and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, October 12 from 10AM-11AM at Aenon Baptist Church, 175 Genesee Street. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his Life to follow. Rev. Dr. Jonathan J. McReynolds, Officiating. Rev. Douglas Hunter, Eulogist. Interment Grove Place Cemetery, Chili, NY.
