Mrs. Smith was born May 18, 1930 in Kingstree, SC. She is the daughter of the late Frank Brockington and the late Blossom (Mouzon) Brockington.
She was employed by Visiting Nurse Services in Rochester, NY as a Nurses Aide.
She is survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Queenester Johnson and Carolyn Levette; other relatives, church family and friends.
Calling hours will be Friday, August 9 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Latimer Chapel, 983 South Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY.
The Funeral Mass to Celebrate her life will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 10 at Immaculate Conception, 445 Frederick Douglass Street, Rochester, NY. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
