ROCHESTER, NY – June 15, 2019, age 73.
Mr. Leonard S. Johnson "Butch" was born February 11, 1946 in Rochester, NY. He is the son of the late Eli William and the late Lillian V (Shorts) Johnson Jr. He married Deborah J. Fields.
Retired City of Rochester Policeman. A graduate of Madison High School and Monroe Community College.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years; Deborah J. Fields-Johnson; 1 son, Andre V. Johnson; 1 brother, Marvin "Pee Dee" (Carolyn) Johnson; 2 sisters, Walterine "Trine" Richardson and Judith (Joe Louis) Johnson-Dunbar; Debbie's children, Kelly Lynn Wachob and Jimmy Wachob; special friends, George Fontenette, Jr., Clifton H. Manns, Sr., Patsy Salvato and Dave Powers all of Rochester, NY, Robert "Bob" Poland of Las Vegas, NV; nieces; nephews; sister-in-law; brothers-in-law; other relatives, church family and friends.
Memorial Service Wednesday, June 26, 2019, 11:00 AM at Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street with Rev. Bessie Lucas, Eulogist. Interment at the convenience of the family.
