Mr. Aldridge was born February 10, 1938 in Opelika, AL. He is the son of the late John Linsey Aldridge and the late Elva (Frances) Aldridge. He married Barbara J. Jarrell.
He was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. as a Setup Man.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara J (Jarrell) Aldridge; 2 sons, Maurice E. (Gwen) Aldridge Sr. and John E. (Michelle) Aldridge Jr.; 5 daughters, Wylesia Williams, Stephanie Aldridge, Susan Aldridge, Veronica and Vanetta; 13 grand and 14 great-grand children; brother, Cecil (Margaret) Aldridge Sr.; 1 sister, Sadie Aldridge; cousin, Jesse Outlaw; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday, January 14 from 11:00 – 12:00 PM at Millard E. Latimer & Son Funeral Directors Inc., 983 S. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, NY.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held 12:00 PM at Latimer Chapel with Gregory Jackson, Officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
