ROCHESTER, NY – January 29, 2019
Deacon Lawhorn was born December 7, 1947 in Georgetown, SC. He is the son of the late Sampson Lawhorn and the late Ethel (Gibson) Lawhorn. He married Alma Ruth Carrington.
He was employed by Kodak in Rochester, NY as a Spray Painter.
He is survived by; his devoted wife. Alma R. Lawhorn; 2 sons, Brian (Marenda) Lawhorn and Jason (Najaah) Lawhorn; 1 daughter. Elisha Michelle Weathers; 6 grandchildren, Raia, Daja, Jaelynn, Brendan, Maia and James; 2 god-children, Divontay and Erin; 3 sisters, Eloise, Dora (Douglas) and Ida; sister-in-law, Carolyn Lawhorn; brother-in-law, Alexander Carrington; nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday, February 9 from 11:00 -12:00 PM at Aenon Baptist Church, 175 Genesee Street, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will immediately follow with Rev. Dr. Jonathan McReynolds, Officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
