Lila "Nette" McDowell was born July 8, 1940 in Kingstree, SC. She is the daughter of the late Burgess McGill and the late Esther (Ervin) McGill.
She was employed by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY as a Secretary.
She is survived by 1 son, Kelvin McDowell; 1 daughter, Janice (Ronald) Johnson; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 19 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Christ Tabernacle Apostolic, 206 Norton Street, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow. Elder Vincent Jones, Officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Greece, NY.
