Mrs. Mitchell was born May 19, 1928 in New Rochelle, NY. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Constance (Penn) Jenkins.
Predeceased by her husband, John C. Mitchell. She is survived by daughter, Constance M. Jefferson; grandson, Gregory Jefferson; 2 great-grandchildren, Gregory Trevon Jefferson and Jude Sorvor Jefferson; sister-in-law, Ruth Mitchell; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and a host of friends.
Mrs. Mitchell will Lie in State on Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21 at 4:00 – 7:00 PM at St. Monica's Church. 831 Genesee Street.
A Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate her Life will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Monica's Church. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester on Saturday, December 22.
