Judge King passed away peacefully January 5, 2018 with his family by his side.
He was born July 15, 1936 in Cat Island, Bahamas. He is the son of the late Aaron Lupron and the late Edith Virginia (Hepburn) King. He married Lucille A. McAlpine.
He served in the Army from 05/23/1956 to 04/17/1958. He was employed by Rochester City Court in Rochester, NY as a Judge.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Mrs. Lucille A. King; 3 sons, Rashid (Monica) Muhammad, Rodman King and Philip (Rebecca) King; 1 daughter, Dr. Lisa (Torye) Harris; 11 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Octavia Johnson and Gladys Sands; 4 sisters-in-law; other relatives, church family and a host of friends.
Friends may call Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at New Progressive Cathedral Church Of God In Christ, 384 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at New Progressive Cathedral Church Of God In Christ, 384 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY with Bishop James R. Wright, Sr. officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery immediately following the service.
