Alma was born May 2, 1947 in Salisbury, NC. She is the daughter of the late Emmanuel L. and the late Duffie L. (Pope) Hogan Sr.
She was employed by School 29 Rochester City School District as a Para Professional.
She is survived by; son, Jesse Michael Harris; daughter, DeAnna Harris; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Homer C. Hogan; sister-in-law, Evelyn Hogan; nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
Calling hours will be Friday, December 1 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Memorial AME Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street, Rochester, NY.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will be held immediately following the visitation. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
