Roosevelt Coston, age 94, died Thursday, July 9, 2015 in, Rochester.
Mr. Coston was born June 6, 1921 in Merry Hill, NC the son of the late John and the late Cecilia (Holley) Coston.
He is survived by his devoted wife: Idella V. Coston; 3 sons, Alton (Angela) Coston, Marion Baker and Eduardo Baker; 3 daughters, Renee Payne, Tanya Baker and Tabitha Baker; grand and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Bessie Hayes and Marie Lamb; nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; other relatives; church family and friends.
Friends may call Sunday 4-8 PM and Monday 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM at Church of Jesus Christ, 16 Helena St. Funeral Service Tuesday, 11 AM at the Church, Bishop Hubert Phillips, Officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
