Joseph Dozier, age 65, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 in, Rochester.
Mr. Dozier was born June 4, 1929 in Morrisville, SC the son of the late and the late Anna (Dozier).
He is survived by his devoted wife, Maggie E. Dozier; 3 daughters, Ada Tramel, Rose Hines and Jo Ann Dozier; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Willie Dozier and Jimmy Gibson; 2 sisters, Anna Dozier and Helen Gaillard; sister-in-law, Mary Moody; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, too many friends to name and church family.
Friends may call Saturday, 10 AM at New Bethel CME Church, 270 Scio Street. Mason Memorial Service 10:45 AM. Funeral Service 11 AM. Rev. Dr. Weldon Thomas, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope.
