Melvin Dean, age 78, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 in Rochester.
Mr. Dean was born July 15, 1932 in Terraceia Island, FL the son of the late Gus and the late Ola (Sullivan) Dean.
He is survived by 1 son, Anthony Dean; 3 daughters, Antoinette Dean; Cassandra Dean and Viola (Randy) Jackson; Companion, Florence Whitlock and her children, Kimberly Whitlock, Kenneth Whitlock, Jeffery Whitlock, Yvette Whitlock and Sandra Becker; 10 grand and 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters Christine Baker and Nora Jenkins; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 PM at East Henrietta Road Church Of Christ, 285 E. Henrietta Road. Funeral Service, Friday, 11 AM at the church. Dr. Jerry Houston, Officiating. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield NY.
