James Alex Smith, age 74, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Cummings, GA.
Mr. Smith was born October 25, 1939 at Andrews, SC the son of the late James A and the late Rebecca (Graham) Smith.
He is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years Agnes Smith; 1 son, Gregory Smith; 2 daughters, Rebecca Smith and Patrina (Dave) Cole; 4 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jessie (Bernita), Samuel (Betty) and Robert (Donna) Smith; 2 sisters, Katherine (Roosevelt) James and Essie (Julian) Eaves; nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Brothers-in-law, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 PM at Antioch MBC, 304 Joseph Ave. Funeral Service, Wednesday, 11 AM at the Church. Rev. James L. Cherry Jr., Officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery
