Daisy O Holmes Prayon, age 78, Rochester died Monday, July 22, 2013 in , Rochester.
Mrs. Holmes Prayon was born August 31, 1934 in Robinsonville, MS the daughter of the late George and the late Almetta (Corppat) Hopkins.
Predeceased by her husband, Willie Carl Prayon. Retired Deputy Sherriff. She is survived by 7 sons, Larry Holmes, Peter (Jackie) Holmes Brown, Alex (Donna) Brown, Allen (Marie) Brown, Robert Brown, Willie Mack Brown and Julius Brown; 2 daughters, Jennell Taylor and Dot Taylor; a host of grandchildren, which includes special grandsons, Little Pete and Little Larry; several great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Andrew J. Holmes; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Rev. Harry) Scrivens and Almettar (John) Brockington; dearest friends, Maxine Granston and Edna Craven; nieces , nephews, other relatives church family and friends.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8 pm at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1772 Clifford Avenue. Funeral Service Saturday 11AM at the Church. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
