Mavis E Lenton, age 83, died Saturday, July 6, 2013 in , Rochester.
Mrs. Lenton was born May 20, 1930 in Somerton, St. James Jamaica, W. I. the daughter of the late Sylvester and the late Linnett (Rodcliff) Linton.
She is survived by 2 sons, Lloyd (Sandra) Brown and Vernon M. Longman; 1 daughter, Joanna (Basil) Williams; 8 grand and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Titus Lindel (Winfred) Shaw; 2 sisters, Edna (Sterling) Bogle and Gloria Luton; nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and friends.
Friends may call Wednesday, 5-8 PM at Jefferson Ave. Seventh Day Adventist Church, 309 Jefferson Avenue. Funeral Service, Thursday, 11 AM at the Church. Pastor Kenneth Green, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery . Flowers are appreciated however, donations to the Jefferson Ave. Seventh Day Adventist Church Bldg. Fund, in memory of Sister Mavis E. Lenton is preferred.
