William C. Moxley, Sr., US Army Veteran age 85, of 290 Frost Ave., Rochester died Friday, December 28, 2012.
Mr. Moxley was born May 2, 1927 at Paducah, KY.
Predeceased by one son, Gary Moxley. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Ann (Wallace) Moxley; 6 sons, William C. (Ann) Moxley Jr., Edmond (Mariam) Moxley, Lastonza Moxley, Allen Moxley, Gregory (Sylvia) Moxley and Xavier S. Moxley; 2 daughters, Priscilla (Emmet) McCray and Barbara (Donald) Quinn, 20 grand and 27 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Thurman L. Moxley; 3 sisters, Delores (Sam) Whitehead, June Douglas and Bivian Stoghill; host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, January 4, 5-8 PM at the Latimer Funeral Chapel, 983 S. Plymouth Ave. Rochester. Funeral Service Friday, 11 AM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church 141 Adams St. Rochester. Rev. Lawrence Hargrave officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery following the Funeral.
