Jimmie L Sims, Sr., age 63, of Rochester died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester.
Mr. Sims was born February 5, 1949 in Winter Haven, FL the son of the late Oscar and the late Louise (Sims) Robinson.
Mr. Sims served our country in the US Army.
He was employed by General Motors Rochester, NY as a Technician.
He is survived by 2 sons, Jimmie L. (Makesha) Sims Jr. and Keith L. (Emerald) Stubbs; 1 grandson, Jayden O. Sims; other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Sunday, November 11, 5-8 PM at Latimer Chapel, 983 South Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY. Funeral Service will be Monday 11:00 AM at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 250 Dr. Samuel McCree Way. Rev. Dr. Richard Douglass, Officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
