Jimmie Lee Vickers, age 73, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Minneapolis, MN
Mr. Vickers was born April 28, 1939 in Sanford, FL the son of the late Odell and the late Annie Ruth (Williams) Vickers.
He served in the Air Force from 1962 to 1966 during Vietnam War.
Raised in Rochester, NY, he leaves to mourn his 12 children, which include Jimmie Vickers Jr., Anchorage, AK; Dr. Aimee Vickers & Tiffany Vickers; Fresno, CA; several grandchildren. Brothers, Ozelle, Robert, Jerome Vickers, all of Rochester, NY and Nathaniel Vickers of Anchorage, AK; Charles Armstrong of Sanford, FL ; sisters, Bertha Washington, of LaVerne, CA, Mary Humphrey, of Rochester, NY, Betty Vickers, Anchorage, AK; other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, 5-8PM at Latimers. Funeral Service Saturday, 11AM at Central Church of Christ, 101 S. Plymouth Ave. Minster Franklin Florence Sr., Officiating. Burial, Riverside Cemetery with Military Honors.
