Matilda Pace, age 99, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in, Rochester.
Mrs. Pace was born May 20, 1912 at Tuskegee, AL the daughter of the late Charles and the late Ida (Henderson) Chambliss.
Predeceased by her husband, Thomas Pace and daughter Mae Ola Wells. She is survived by 1 son, Thomas Pace Jr.; 2 daughters, Annie V. Hardrick and Thelma (Marion) Smith; several grand. Great and great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles Chambliss; sister-in-law, Florine Pace; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, 10-11AM for viewing at House Of God, 654 N. Goodman St., Funeral Service immediately following. Elder Mack Dillard, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
