Gloria B Rogers, age 75, died Friday, November 4, 2011 in Rochester.
Mrs. Rogers was born July 10, 1936 at Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Allen and the late Olivia (Morris) Benson.
Mrs. Rogers was a teacher and counselor for 30 years in the Rochester City School District. She is survived by her devoted husband Lemuel A. Rogers Jr., MD; 2 sons, Lemuel A. Rogers; 1 daughter, Lisa A. Rogers; 3 granddaughters, Morgan, Taylor and Madison; 1 great-granddaughter, Hailee; 1 sister, Loretta Brown; nieces, nephews, 4 brothers-in-law, 1 sister-in-law, other relatives church family and friends. She will be Sorely missed
Friends may call Friday, 4-8PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams Street. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Memorial Service, 6:30 PM. Funeral Service, Saturday, 10 AM at the church. Rev. Lawrence Hargrave, Officiating. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Scholarship Fund in memory of Mrs. Rogers.
