Mae took care of my father for years up until he passed away and then continued to take care of my mother up until she no longer could due to her back surgery but she still came to visit us and she continued to make her wonderful 7-up cake for me and my sister every Thanksgiving. What a wonderful caring human being. I know she made my Dad a much happier person in his final days as he knew she would do whatever she could to make him comfortable and happy. G-d Bless Her Soul and may your beautiful memories of her comfort you at this time.

Mae! I light this candle in memory of you. I had an urgent desire to hear your voice on October 31st, but when I called you was too weak to talk. I will always remember your beautiful disposition that was always graced with a charming smile, the love you showed for your family and humankind, and your love for Jesus Christ. Your presence with the Lord is the reward of your work on earth.
To my family I say; remember Mae’s wisdom, Love God with your whole heart, and keep the faith. Stay prayerful and be encouraged Annette (Doug), Hank (Amina), Aunt Til, Thelma (Bill), Thomas, Annie and the entire family. Psalms 30:5 says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
I love you dearly, Neat (Tuskegee, AL.)
