Obituary of Lillie P. Daniels

ROCHESTER, NY – November 29, 2024
On November 29, 2024, Lillie Pearl Brown Daniels was called home to be with the Lord. Born on August 17, 1935, to Lucious Brown and Gertrude Kendricks-Brown in Unadilla, Georgia, she moved to Rochester, NY, in 1942. There, she met and married Milton Lewis Daniels Jr. on June 18, 1955.
Lillie Pearl Daniels and Milton Daniels Jr. went on to have five sons: Milton Lewis Daniels III (Tonita Daniels), Terrance Daniels, Marc Daniels (Virginia Daniels), Kevin Daniels, and Kelvin Daniels Sr. (Regina Moyd). She also cherished her dear goddaughter, Alison McCullough.
Lillie Pearl Daniels spent 21 years as a Healthcare Coordinator at Visiting Nurse Service (VNS), showing compassion and care to all she served. Her commitment extended beyond her professional life into her spiritual life as a dedicated member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Anthony Bonds.
She served the Lord faithfully within and throughout the church as a deaconess, a member of the kitchen committee, the senior choir, the missionary board, and the welcome committee. Her dedication to the youth ministry was unwavering. On July 31, 2011, Lillie Pearl Daniels was honored as one of the mothers of the church, a testament to her enduring faith and commitment.
Her legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to inspire and guide those who knew her. Lillie will be profoundly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Lillie Pearl Daniels was predeceased by; her husband, Milton L. Daniels and her three sons, Milton Daniels III, Marc Daniels and Terrance Daniels. She is survived by; her beloved sons, Kevin Daniels and Kelvin Daniels Sr., her beautiful grandchildren, Dawn'ta Cocilova, (Alan Cocilova), Kamara Daniels, Milton Daniels IV, Jehmia Daniels, Ashley Daniels, Jermaine Daniels, Marquita Daniels, Kelvin Daniels Jr., Kevin Daniels, Jayden Daniels, and Sarona Daniels, Dalphanie Wilson; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who will all miss her deeply.
Friends may call Thursday, December 12 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 174 Thurston Road, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow at 12 Noon with Dr. Anthony Bonds, Eulogist. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.
