James Reed, Jr., age 74, died Monday, August 1, 2011 in, Rochester.
Mr. Reed was born December 25, 1936 in Atlanta, GA the son of the late James and the late Addie Mae (Hemphill) Reed.
He is survived by 1 son, James Reed III; 2 daughters, Yolanda DaSilva and Sherrie Carter; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Isaac Reed and Allen (Bessie) Reed; 2 sisters, Rosemary Oliver and Valerie Reed-Kinsey; stepmother, Bernice ( John) Shaphard; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, 11 AM- 12 Noon at Rochester Bible Church, 274 Merchant Rd. Funeral Service immediately following, Rev. Alfred Cotton, Sr. Officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
